
The School of Computer Applications at SDGI Global University organized a special workshop on AI and ML. Final-year students from the School of Computer Applications’ UG and PG programs participated in the workshop.
The program began with an inspiring address by Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Tripathi, Director, School of Computer Applications. In his welcome address, he encouraged students to learn from the knowledge and experience of industry experts. He emphasized the need for students to develop both fundamental knowledge and practical skills in cutting-edge areas like software project management to prepare them for industry needs.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Sujeet Kumar (Senior Software Developer and Software Quality Lead, Kate Cam Technologies), introduced the final-year MCA and BCA students to the practical aspects of software project management. He provided detailed information on project management using Java, SQL, and JIRA tools. He emphasized the importance of practical knowledge for success in the industry. He also emphasized the need to be vigilant against the upcoming AI wave and embrace new technologies.
Program coordinator Dr. Gajendra Singh (Associate Professor) delivered a PPT presentation on project guidelines and formats for final-year BCA and MCA students. He provided detailed information on the project management process, DFD, and ER diagrams, which will help students effectively prepare their academic projects.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Tripathi at the end of the program. He wished all participants a bright future and commended the support of SDGI Global University’s top management, faculty members, media cell, and student volunteers, whose tireless efforts made this industry expert lecture a success.
